- Medical Degree (MD) from the School of Medicine at Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, California
- Doctor of Education (PhD) degree in Linguistics from Bircham International University, Madrid, Spain (Dissertation: A Neurobiological Theory and Method of Language Acquisition)
A pioneer in the neurobiology of transformative learning, he has held academic, teaching and research positions at numerous American and International colleges and universities. His special interest is critical thinking.
